ADHD is one of the most underdiagnosed and misunderstood mental health conditions, especially in adults. It doesn’t always show up as hyperactivity or disruptive behavior. In fact, many people go through life chalking up their struggles to being “scatterbrained” or “lazy,” when in reality, they may be living with undiagnosed ADHD.
If you’ve ever found it hard to stay focused, constantly misplace everyday items, forget appointments, or speak impulsively without meaning to, these could be signs of ADHD. It often presents differently in adults than in children, sometimes showing up as chronic disorganisation, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty following through on tasks, rather than the stereotypical restlessness.
Getting assessed for ADHD can be a powerful step toward self-understanding. Our psychologists provide a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore your experiences and guide you through the assessment process. Whether you’ve suspected ADHD for years or are just beginning to connect the dots, it’s never too late to seek clarity.
With the right diagnosis and support, you can learn to work with your brain, not against it. Treatment options, including therapy, coaching, and sometimes medication, can help you manage symptoms and tap into your strengths. You deserve to thrive - not just cope!
ADHD can make everyday life challenging by affecting focus, organisation, impulse control, and time management. Some people may feel restless, struggle with waiting their turn or meeting deadlines, and experience mood swings, forgetfulness, or stress that impacts relationships and work.
The good news is that with the right support and strategies, ADHD can be managed. Our team starts with thorough assessments to create personalised treatment plans that include therapy, coaching, and skill-building to boost focus, emotional regulation, and confidence and for kids and teens, we involve family and collaborate with schools to build a strong foundation.
You're not alone; we’re here to help you navigate ADHD with practical strategies and compassionate care.
For children under 12, only parents or caregivers attend; for those 12 and older, clients can attend alone or with a parent/caregiver. The 50-minute appointment includes a clinical interview, an ADHD screener or questionnaire, and guidance on whether a formal assessment is necessary.
Clients can choose to attend the session alone or be accompanied by a parent or caregiver, depending on their comfort level. The session lasts up to 2 hours to allow for a thorough assessment and discussion, and it is conducted in our clinic, providing a comfortable and private environment for your evaluation.
This session involves both the psychologist and the client, providing an opportunity for professional insights alongside open discussion of concerns and questions. Scheduled for 1 hour, the session allows for a thorough follow-up where the psychologist explains the assessment report, details the findings and their implications, and offers tailored recommendations to guide ongoing treatment and support.
This session is designed exclusively for a psychologist to conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations over a 3-4 hour period. During this time, the psychologist meticulously scores assessments, interprets the results to provide clear insights, and compiles a detailed report with recommendations based on the findings
Our ADHD assessment fee is $1200, covering 2 hours of in-clinic assessments and 4 hours of clinical assessment and report. A 50% deposit is required upon booking.

Your ADHD assessment involves two sessions where you'll complete a screener or questionnaire chosen specifically for you by your psychologist. Overall, the process usually takes about 6-7 hours (and sometimes a little longer), and you'll be informed during your first session so you can decide if you’d like to continue. Please note that while our psychologists diagnose and treat ADHD, they do not prescribe medication - if you need medication, a psychiatrist or GP can help.
